Been working on a fundraising thermometer. One with goals and one with just the amount raised. It works by pulling the amount/total from a text (xml) file. Handy because it’s easy to update an xml file with new totals and flash doesn’t need to be opened again.
This was an old Flash thermometer so can’t show this online anymore, because Flash was discontinued, but here’s the original designs (with the Great Ormond Street colour palette). It was the top left one that was chosen.
Flyerboy is my third highscore game. This was commissioned by a company to promote their printing services. The game – Flyerboy is out collecting flyers when he runs into trouble! The rozzers and drunks are onto him!
Buggers is my second game and I managed, (after hours of searching), to add a good highscore Perl script to it. The coding took awhile to get right and the most time consuming thing was to bug fix but worth it in the end. The story is about a Podfighter called Percy and whilst he is out collecting some cosmic hearts he accidentally flies into a swarm of raging buggers!
